Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Release Date, Price, Availability, Design, Camera, Specifications, Latest Leaks And More

Samsung seems all set to expand its foldable lineup in 2025, not just with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7, but with one more model – the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. While initially believed to be a toned-down version of the Flip 7, new leaks suggest Flip 7 FE may offer almost similar specs to Flip 6.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE may not get the flashy new edge-to-edge cover display of the Flip 7. Renders suggest it will stick with the older 3.4-inch cover screen, similar to the Z Flip 5 and Flip 6, with thick bezels and a step-cutout around the cameras. Unfolded, the device measures 165.1 x 71.7 x 7.4mm, about the same as its predecessors, though slightly thicker.

Inside, the Flip 7 FE is expected to sport a 6.7-inch LTPO 2x AMOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

According to leaked information, this device could be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset found in the Flip 6. It is also expected to pack 12GB RAM, directly challenging the Z Flip 6's performance level.

The Flip 7 FE is tipped to come with a 4,000mAh battery, which should support 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Surprisingly, the Flip 7 FE might offer the same camera system as the Flip 6. That includes a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP front-facing camera, all supporting 4K video recording. This is a notable upgrade from earlier reports that hinted at a dual 12MP camera setup from the Flip 5.

The Flip 7 is likely to launch in July 2025, while the Flip 7 FE may follow shortly after. Some leaks suggest Samsung might launch it alongside its triple-fold device later in the year.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could launch at under EUR 1,000 (around Rs 96,000). Though not exactly budget-friendly, it would still be more affordable than the standard Z Flip 7, expected to be priced higher.
