Nesippayaa On OTT

Nesippaya, a Tamil romantic thriller that hit the screens earlier this year on January 14, 2025 has secured a OTT release date.
Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the film opened to lukewarm reviews from fans. If you missed watching it in theaters, here's your chance to stream online.

Nesippaya On OTT

Nesippaya will be available to stream on Sun NXT from May 16. The announcement on the OTT giant’s official X account read, “May 16 mudhal #Nesippaayaa? Nesippaya streaming from May 16th on Sun NXT."
The movie revolves around Arjun, who falls in love with Diya during college. Their relationship take a sour turn after a misunderstanding which leads Diya find peace in Portugal. Years later, Arjun finds out that she has been arrested for a crime in a foreign country. Despite their past, he travels to Portugal to help her.
As Arjun investigates, he uncovers a shocking web involving Diya's former colleague Karthik, his secret relationship, and a conspiracy led by Varadharajan. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Talking about the film's story, the director said "Akash plays Arjun, who is quite impulsive. Whereas, Aditi’s character is contrasting. The drama is in their characters. They fall in love and part ways for the same reason. When you realise your mistakes, and you accept the person as they are – that’s when you fall in love. Till then, it’s all infatuation. The two go through their phase."
The film was shot sporadically in several phases with filming locations including Portugal, Spain, and India, and the shoot wrapped by mid-February 2024.
